Work set to begin on CN property

Neepawa Town Council briefs, Tuesday, April 19

Dig-All Construction has begun mobilizing its equipment on the former CN property. The Winkler-based company was selected earlier this month to install a new trunk sewer in the area, as part of a massive infrastructure project planned by the Town of Neepawa. Dig-All had the lowest bid, at $605,400 plus tax. Work on the first phase of the project will likely start in early May.

Crocus Festival coming to Arden

The first Saturday of May, as it has been since 2001, will be a busy one in Arden. May 7 is the day for the 16th annual Arden Crocus Festival. The Crocus Festival is a fun day for the whole family that celebrates Arden’s status as the crocus capital of Manitoba.

And now, hoopla has a new “Kids Mode” called “hoopla for kids,” where titles in each format – video, music and books – has been selected and brought together in one place to provide a one-stop location for all the great content kids can enjoy.
