RM of Oakview, April 28: Rapid City Fire Department is still looking for a suitable used fire truck; a foam ranger was discussed. Certain ratepayers have requested to enter into an agreement with the municipality regarding tax arrears; council agreed with certain property owners on the condition that all outstanding 2015 property taxes be paid by Feb. 28, 2017.

Permission has been requested by a family member to place a bench in Rapid City cemetery in memory of T. and J. Saul; council agreed to the same placed by Nancy Molnar which will be a stone bench at the back of the cemetery overlooking the valley. Colin Lawson has requested permission to construct an additional approach into his property on the southwest quarter of 13-15-20W, at his expense; council agreed and will provide a culvert if needed.

Concern has been expressed regarding the local improvement district area included in bylaw 2016-3; the Rapid City lift station was discussed and more information is to be obtained. Accounts of $162,502.51 and unpaid invoices of $51,388.56 were passed for payment.
