Safeway Championship update: Neepawa's Robertson, Chudley eliminated

Draw 10 of the Safeway men's provincial curling championship has wrapped up in Neepawa.

Both Neepawa-based teams wound up losing and have officially been eliminated from the event.

Jerry Chudley lost 9-4 to David Kraichy of Fort Rouge, while Kelly Robertson lost to William Lyburn of Deer Lodge by a score of 7-6.

Meanwhile, Scott Ramsay of Granite defeated Mark Lukowich of West Kildonan 8-2 in seven ends, while Scott Madams of Fort Rouge beat Jared Kolomaya of Stonewall by a score of 6-1.

Ramsay, Madams, Kraichy and Lyburn will all advance on the B side.

One of the feature matchups in Draw 11 will have defending champion Rob Fowler taking on David Kraichy. If Fowler loses, he will be eliminated from the event.

The other games consist of Scott Madams battling Dennis Bohn of Assiniboine Memorial, William Lyburn taking on Steen Sigurdson of Fort Rouge and Scott Ramsay of Granite going up against Dave Elias of West St. Paul.
