The Neepawa Tigers Varsity Girls volleyball team recently picked up a pair of wins in Zone 7 league play. On Wednesday, Oct. 15, the Tigers hosted the Rivers Rams and were victorious three sets to one. The final scores were 26-24, 25-23, 23-25 and 25-9.

On Tuesday, Oct. 21, William Morton Colligate paid a visit to Neepawa. The Tigers won that matchup in three straight sets, 25-17, 25-11 and 25-10.

It was also an extremely busy week on the court for the boys varsity squad, as they also faced Rivers on the 15th. The Tigers were able to top the Rams 25-12, 25-18 and 25-23.

On Monday, Oct. 20, Neepawa’s varsity boys hosted an exhibition game against the Dauphin Clippers. In that matchup, it was the Clippers who came out on top, beating the Tigers in four sets by the score of 18-25, 25-23, 25-14 and 25-14.

Neepawa was able to bounce back quickly from that disappointing results on Tuesday, Oct. 21, when they knocked off the visiting William Morton Warriors three sets to one. The final scores in that contest were 25-22, 25-12, 21-25 and 25-20.
