Robertson remains undefeated at senior men's provincial curling championship

Neepawa's Kelly Robertson remains undefeated at the senior men's provincial curling championship at the Brandon Curling Club. 

Robertson opened up the event on Thursday afternoon with a 4-2 over Brandon's Lory Saban. Robertson scored a single in the first end, a deuce in the fourth and another single in the sixth en route to the win. 

Robertson followed that up with a 4-3 win over East St. Paul's Rob Atkins later that day. Robertson scored a deuce in the second end and was able to pick up singles in the fifth and eighth to improve to 2-0 at the event.

Robertson is currently tied with Brandon's Kelly McMechan for first place in the Red Group standings. Mike Mahon of Deer Lodge leads the way in the Black Group with a 3-0 record.

Robertson improved to 3-0 after defeating Sam Antila of Burntwood 6-4 on Friday afternoon.
