It’s wonderful to live in a town with young people (some older too) who seem happy to assist us older grandmas crossing the street, or struggling in and out of stores with our walkers.

A big thumbs down to the people that decided that the Court House didn't need any lovely flowers this year.

A big thumbs up to Debbie Unger, who hosted my book launch on Aug. 11. Debbie had the library looking great, the launch area all ready to go and kept us in fresh coffee for the 3 hour period.

Another thumbs up for Gail Cathcart, who provided home made chocolate chip cookies, which were enjoyed by all.

My third thumbs up to the Neepawa Press/Banner for their support and for keeping copies of the book there for anyone who didn’t make the launch.

Kudos to the locals who came out for the launch. Thank you all.
