Observation: Computer is outdated

Today did not quite start the way I hoped it would. I could not get my computer to work and my laptop refused to send the article, because it is outdated.

As a last resort I shut off everything and started over again. Now it’s working again. With electronics, it’s difficult to keep up to date with those new adventures. What a blessing that with God there are no updates. He is the same today, yesterday and forever.

This week will be a very busy week in our town when families get together during rodeo time and sometimes reunions are organized during this time. Families are God-given. We might not know all our family members but we know that we belong to a family.

We can also know that we belong to a Kingdom. Our Lord and Saviour is waiting for us to come to repentance and become a child of God. We will then belong to the family of God and be a child of the King.

Harriet E. Buell wrote the words to this beautiful hymn, “I’m a child of the King; with Jesus my Savior, I’m a child of the King.”
