Observation: Minds are hooked

Our minds are hooked up to electronics. Most households have at least one computer and maybe an iPhone and an iPad.

When something goes wrong and we can not get in touch with our family and friends through our electronics, we feel lost, discouraged or even disgusted when we realize that the system is letting us down. We get the experts in and find out that they do not have all the answers either.

This made me think that to be able to communicate with God, we do not need any electronics or gadgets. God is only a prayer away. No interference, no busy signals. All we need to do is to close our eyes and fold our hands, so there is no interruption while we talk to God.

Jesus is our Mediator and in His name, we have access to God. Philippians 4:6 tells us, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.” The next verse tells us that it will give peace in our hearts.
