Blake Wheeler and Evander Kane scored just 57 seconds apart in the third period as the Winnipeg Jets came back to defeat the Boston Bruins 3-1 on Tuesday night in NHL action.

Wheeler scored an empty-netter for the Jets, who now sit with a 16-12-2 record and currently sit in first place in the Southeast Division with 34 points.

Brad Marchand scored the lone goal for Boston, just eight seconds into the second period.
