TV bingo coming back to Neepawa

NACTV board member and Bingo chair Hector Swanson and NACTV general manager Ivan Traill said that tickets will be available for sale on Oct. 1 and the first bingo will take place on Oct. 7 at 7 p.m. Bingo cards will be available at 21 locations around west and central Manitoba.  The games will be broadcast live on NACTV and CJ radio.

Roads dug up in Neepawa

Some massive infrastructure work is underway at the corner of Brown Avenue and Ellen Street in Neepawa. Road crews appear to be replacing water and sewer lines in the area. No word at time as to how long the work will disrupt traffic in the area.

Movie extras needed!

The Amityville Playhouse is looking for extras on Monday, Sept 29. Extras will be needed at 10am for an audience scene and at 2 pm. for an outdoos scene.  Both scenes will take a few hours to film.  For more information, call 204-476-2214.

Neepawa Council approves deal to complete CN property

On Sept 16, the Town of Neepawa council met for their regular council meeting. Just into fall, councillors had little to report about their individual council activities but the meeting set the stage for what could be a busy fall in the town.
