Conference give students leadership skills

Youth from across the province converged on Neepawa for the annual Manitoba Student Leadership Conference. The two-day event was held on Oct. 16 and 17 and involved 180 students from 31 schools attending a series of workshops to develop their leadership skills.

Neepawa council appoints CEO, sells land

Neepawa council, at its last meeting before the election, appointed Colleen Synchyshyn as the CAO. Synchyshyn had been Assistant CAO under Richard Beachey, who resigned last month. She had been acting CAO since Beachey’s resignation.

Family thankful for support after devastating fire

There have been a few sleepless nights for Marijka Kostenchuk recently after a fire unexpectedly struck her reflexology and massage therapy clinic in Neepawa.
