It’s time, the wild prairie crocus is stretching out from below the brown grasses of last fall and getting ready to bloom. It’s also time to get out the camera for fresh crocus photos.

Tractor to help rehab

Once upon a time, I, Lorne Radcliffe, purchased this tractor from Mary Rouse of Bradwardine. I had been alerted about the tractor, a Fordson Major diesel, by a friend and the rest is history. It was sitting in an abandoned farm yard and was quite visible from the road. Mrs. Rouse sold it to me with a verbal understanding that I would not resell it for a profit.

Neepawa exploring Co-op community grant option

The Town of Neepawa may soon have some additional funding to help beautify and improve a few local projects. Council has given the go ahead for municipal administration to pursue an application to the Co-op Community Space program.

RM of Oakview, March 24: The Roads and Drainage Committee discussed the placement of gravel on certain hills in Ward 3. Information received from public works regarding work to be done at Oak River Agriculture Society site was discussed.
