On Nov. 18 the ladies of Roman Catholic parish were happy to welcome people to their annual St. Nicholas tea. The weather was cold and crisp, but the hall was warm and inviting! We are grateful for your support and we hope you had a good time.

Winners of the penny raffle were: Ann Lines, pop, gift card, afghan; Sherri Dziver, spatula and tea towels; Gordon Allen, knives and gift card; Caroline Wells, bowls; Sylvia Maloney, tea light holder; Esther Krahn, colouring book and pencils, lottery tickets; Frances Young, cake mixes, spatula, container, tea pot, tea, candles; Audrey Sadler, table runner and candle; Freda Paddock, tea pot and teas; Amelia Melvin, night light, bowl; Marlene Allen, measuring bowl; Justin Ventnor and Betty Frazer, gift certificates; Cody Dziver, LED lights; Giselle Cudmore, Belgian biscuits; Liliane Dupuis, snowman, ornament, mug, brooch; Jeannie Ventnor, Christmas crackers; Lois Allen, wall ornament; Garth Ventnor, socks, lighter, Armourall; Eleanor Childerhose, amaryllis; Nola McBurney, table ornament; Kerri-Mae Mayor, tea towels, dish, vegetable peeler; Elizabeth Gnitecki, juicer, pizza stone, pizza mix, chocolates, brooch, note cards;  Myrtle Wooldridge, basket, socks, lip balm, toffee, etc.; Jean Cuvelier, ornament and vase.

Winning the Christmas basket was Lorraine McDonald of Brandon; Gordon Allen won the small food hamper and Dora Irvine won the large food hamper. Dora donated that hamper to Riverdale Harvest.
