Daughter On Call has officially expanded to Neepawa. While we have been providing services in the area for quite some time, it became evident that it would be beneficial to open a Neepawa-based office. This allows the company a chance to be more present in the community and better able to recognize the specific needs of community members.

Daughter On Call is a private home-care business providing a full range of personalized services to the elderly, surgical clients and those living with disabilities. In 2012, the business was founded by Gail Freeman-Campbell, who recognized a gap between the services provided by the province and the specific needs of the individual. Freeman-Campbell has won many prestigious awards, including CLPNM award for Outstanding Leadership, Woman of Distinction in Business Leadership, Best Boss Award and recently the Brandon Chamber of Commerce award for Best New Business. She is also highly sought out for her knowledge of caring for the elderly and for public speaking engagements.

Daughter On Call services vary widely, including tasks such as personal care (bathing, toileting), companionship (in-home visits, going for outings), housekeeping, laundry, medication administration, meal planning and preparation, transportation, as well as various nursing services. We believe in not rushing our clients, so we tailor the time spent with each client depending on their individual needs.  Our services are customized to meet the needs of every person that we care for. Our fees are affordable, as we can direct bill agencies such as Blue Cross, Veteran Affairs, Manitoba Public Insurance and Worker’s Compensation Board. We can offer further information on how to obtain other forms of funding to offset our fees.

Daughter On Call recognizes that in today’s society, families are often separated by distance. We know how unsettling it can be for family members to not truly know how their loved one is doing. We connect clients, caregivers and their families together through an online app. This app allows caregivers to record their care notes, which in-turn provides families more insight into the care their family member is receiving. Our staff are all trained professionals who go the extra mile for all our clients.  They are friendly and courteous and always have the clients best interest in the forefront.

Our Neepawa office is run by Michelle Levandoski, office manager and client care coordinator, who directly reports to Gail Freeman-Campbell.  Michelle welcomes the public to drop by and say hello, inquire about our services or to request a free in-home consultation.

The office is located at 390 Mountain Avenue and is ready to serve individuals in Neepawa, Gladstone, Minnedosa, Portage la Prairie, as well as the surrounding areas. For more information on how Daughter On Call can help seniors stay safely in their own homes, contact Michelle Levandoski at 1-204-476-3487.
