Neepawa man sentenced to three years in jail

Brad Owen Minkus of Neepawa was sentenced on Feb. 26 in Minnedosa Provincial Court to three years jail for trafficking cocaine and oxycodone.

Minkus was charged in May 2012 along with three other Neepawa area residents following an RCMP investigation into the street level sale and distribution of drugs within the community.  

The three remaining accused are presently still before the courts. Minkus will serve his sentence at the Stoney Mountain Correctional Facility in Manitoba.
