Elphinstone RCMP investigate armed robbery

On Jan. 24 at about 11:30 p.m, Elphinstone RCMP were dispatched to a complaint of an armed robbery that had occurred at the gaming centre on the Keeseekoowenin First Nation.

Investigation indicates that a lone male wearing a balaclava entered the premises brandishing a firearm and demanding cash and cigarettes.

The man then fled on foot with cigarettes and an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no injuries.

The suspect is described as wearing a green camouflage jacket and dark pants. 

Elphinstone RCMP and Brandon RCMP Major Crimes Services continue to investigate.
