Quad theft in Portage

Early in the morning on July 1, Portage RCMP responded to a number of reports of theft.

Initial investigation revealed that three quads had been stolen from the Portage area and one was stolen from the Westbourne area.

Police were able to locate and arrest the suspects as well as recover the stolen quads. Two male youths, one from Sandy Bay First Nation and the other from Portage, are facing a combined total of 34 charges.

No further information is available.

Police continue to investigate.
