Arrest made in connection to homicide in MacGregor

RCMP have made an arrest that is in connection in the homicide of an elderly man from MacGregor.

Jason Conway, 21, of MacGregor, has been charged with first-degree murder of 96-year-old Niels "Arne" Nielsen, who died last month.

Conway will make his first court appearance in Portage on Monday.

The cause of Nielsen's death is unknown. He was found at his home at approximately 5 p.m. on May 25.
