Souris RCMP investigate large commercial theft

On Monday at approximately 10 a.m., RCMP received a report of theft of more than $5,000 at a business in Souris.

Investigation revealed that sometime over the weekend, suspect(s) entered the yard of a commercial property and stole a quantity of equipment, tools and fuel. Some of the items stolen include a Stanley hydraulic rail drill, a Stihl gas chop saw, 200 litres of diesel fuel and a Huskvarna gas-powered rail saw.

The investigation is continuing.
