The banquet at the Manitoba 55-Plus Games promises to be a ‘must attend’ affair if you’re in the Neepawa area during the Games. On June 18, the banquet and dance at Neepawa’s Yellowhead Centre will have Lloyd Robertson as the guest speaker.

Lloyd who was a radio and television broadcaster for many years is well known to all Canadians as one of the most trusted faces in television news.

To round out the evening, Kelly Robertson and his rink will be in attendance. Robertson was the senior men’s Canadian curling champion in 2011 and received a silver medal this year at the Canadian senior men’s event.

The dance will have the Grayson Ross Band of Virden to entertain and supply the dance music.

Tickets are available now.  If you wish, you can reserve yours with your 55-plus  registration or, in Neepawa, phone (204) 476-7614 or (204) 476-0355.  Tickets are $25 each.  Only 350 tickets are available, first come/first served basis.
