RCMP seeking public assistance regarding armed robbery in Portage

RCMP are asking for help in identifying two suspects who were involved in an armed robbery in Portage on Wednesday night.

RCMP responded to the robbery in progress shortly after 11 p.m. When they arrived, the suspects had fled the scene. The lone employee working at the establishment was unharmed.

The suspects got away with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes.

One suspect is described at approximately 16 years old with brown hair and was wearing a black sweatshirt with dark pants and a green backpack. The other suspect had a heavy build and appeared to be approximately 20 years old with a dark hood and black pants.
