Rivers 4-H Beef Club held its fourth meeting on Sunday, Jan. 3 at Rivers Collegiate. On Jan. 17 our club will be cleaning MacDon equipment at Westman Communications Group Place Brandon’s Keystone Centre); we are doing this in preparation for Ag Days. We are looking forward to hearing 4-H speeches on Jan. 24; judges are still awaiting confirmation.

We received a $250 grant towards the purchase of two new 4-H banners. One sign has poles on each side which can be used for different events and the other sign has bullets to be hung up. New banners are required due to the 4-H logo being changed.

The meeting concluded with an activity on beef carcass anatomy.
