Midwest Weed District is staffed by supervisor Sid Lewis and Keith Bennett. Keith won his Shreddies T-shirt then made one for his boss.

According to Sid, “Keith dared me to wear it at his 70th birthday party and if I did, he would wear his shirt. He didn't think I would, so he had to go and put his on. This shows the friendship we have developed over the years and I hope it continues forever!”

The picture was taken at the Bennett farm in the Harding/Kenton district a few years ago. Keith’s season of employment with Midwest ended in early October and he will not return for another season; he’s offcially retired. Sid will retire next year, but continues to man the Hamiota office. 

RMs of Blanshard, Daly, Saskatchewan and Woodworth, all with parts in the coverage area of Rivers Banner, are some of the municipal members of Midwest Weed District.
