It was a day of inspiration for the 60 NACI students who attended this year’s WE Day. Organized by WE (formerly Free the Children), We Day celebrates youth making a difference both locally and globally. The event fills a stadium and combines the energy of a live concert, with inspirational speakers sharing stories of leadership and change.
Neepawa Natives acquire forward from Portage

The Neepawa Natives have made a roster change in advance of the Dec. 1 trade deadline. The MJHL club has acquired forward Josh Sielsky (98) from the Portage Terriers for future considerations.

Students at Rivers Collegiate held their annual We Scare Hunger/Halloween for Harvest drive on a cool, rainy Oct. 31. While the weather was dreary and depressing, the response was warm and exciting. Once again, a new record amount of donations was collected — a whopping 1,000 pounds!
