High school students in Neepawa recently received a very inspirational message through the power of music. Musician Robb Nash performed a concert at Neepawa Area Collegiate Institute as part of the Manitoba Student Leadership Conference.

Waves of Hope heading to Florida

Members of the local dragon boat team Waves of  Hope will travel to Sarasota, Fla. Oct. 24-26 to take part in the 2014 International Breast Cancer Paddlers’ Commission (IBCPC) Dragon Boat Festival at Nathan Benderson Park.

Oct. 5-11 was fire prevention week; this year’s theme was working smoke alarms. Brian Mitchell, Ryan MacLellan, Josh Tait and Richard Brown of Rivers/Daly Fire Department were busy that week making presentations at Rivers Elementary School.
