Legislature recalled

On Wednesday, after a week of almost unprecedented uproar in the Manitoba government, the announcement was made by NDP house leader, Steve Ashton that the legislature will sit this fall.

A throne speech will be read on Nov. 20 and the house will sit for two weeks.

New specialty plate available today

Snoman unveiled a new, colourful specialty licence plate at its fourth annual congress on Oct. 24 and 25 in Winnipeg. The plate will be available at Autopac agents throughout the province beginning Nov. 3.

Gladstone Royal Purple celebrates 65 years

The Order of the Royal Purple in Gladstone has celebrated a very significant milestone. On Friday, Oct. 24, the club commemorated its 65th year of operation during a dinner at the Senior Drop-In Centre.
