The Wednesday night game against the Portage Terriers was the first true test of the MJHL season for the Neepawa Natives. Unfortunately, the Natives were unable to escape the PCU Centre in Portage la Prairie with a passing grade, losing to the Terriers 5-1.

Neepawa Natives coach pleased with early season energy from team, fans

The Neepawa Natives are off to a very positive start this MJHL season. Prior to the Wednesday, Sept. 24 road game in Portage la Prairie, the club was 2-0 in the standings, after defeating the OCN Blizzard Friday and Saturday night at the Yellowhead Centre.

Swan Valley defeats Neepawa in RMFL play

The NACI Tigers have dropped to 1-2 on the season in the Rural Manitoba Football League after a 32-20 loss to the Swan Valley Tigers on Monday. Head Coach Dave Clark said the team started off a bit slow but was able to gain some late momentum after establishing its running game, which accumulated 215 yards and three touchdowns.

Wayway tops Neepawa in final pre-season tilt

The Neepawa Natives wrapped up their pre-season schedule with a 3-1 loss to the Waywayseecappo Wolverines Sunday night. The Wolverines outshot Neepawa 39 to 32 on its way to victory. The first regular season matchup for the Natives is set for Friday night when they host the OCN Blizzard at the Yellowhead Centre.
