MJHL: Natives fall to Kings in overtime

The Manitoba Junior Hockey League's Neepawa Natives lost 2-1 to the Dauphin Kings in overtime on Wednesday night.
The power play played a key role at Credit Union Place in Dauphin as all three goals in the game were scored with the man advantage.
After two scoreless periods, the host Kings opened the scoring in the third on a goal by Jesse Sinatynski. The Natives would reply at the 15:16 mark on a tally by Derrick Brooks.
The game would end up going to overtime where Brenden Hurley's goal at the 2:07 mark would ice it for the Kings.
Jeremy Pominville picked up the win between the pipes for Dauphin, making 21 saves, while Neepawa's Corey Koop ended up with the loss, stopping 39 shots.
With the overtime loss, Neepawa's record sits at 4-6-1 on the year, good for a tie for fourth in the Sher-Wood Division.
The Kings meanwhile, improve to 6-4-0 on the season.
Meanwhile, in other MJHL action on Wednesday, the Swan Valley Stampeders defeated the Waywayseecappo Wolverines 3-1.
