A positive result recently for Ben Perrett of the Prairie Storm Athletics track team, as he and his father Mark competed in the Winnipeg Fire and Paramedic Half Marathon.

Ben won the five kilometre race and set a new course record of 17:27.

Mark, meanwhile, set a new personal best of 44:17 in the 10k race placing 13th overall in a field of 900 and second in his age group.
