Scotties update: Three teams remain undefeated; City Winnipeg to broadcast semifinals

Three teams remain undefeated at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts provincial women's curling championship in Stonewall.

Barb Spencer from Assiniboine Memorial and Jennifer Jones from St. Vital sit with 4-0 records in the Black Group, while Colleen Kilgallen from Pinawa is also a perfect 4-0 in the Red Group.

Janet Harvey and Michelle Montford of Assiniboine Memorial are tied for second place in the Black Group with 3-1 marks, while Darcy Robertson and Chelsea Carey of Fort Rouge are tied for second in the Red Group (both at 3-1 as well).

Scotties to be televised on City Winnipeg as well

It was announced that the Scotties will now also be on City Winnipeg for both semifinals as well as Sportsnet.

On Saturday Jan. 26 (8:30 p.m.) the semi-final, which will be live on Sportsnet West and Sportsnet Pacific, will also be on City Winnipeg, as it will join the action in progress at 9 p.m.

Meanwhile, on Sunday, Jan. 27 at 12:00 p.m., the other semi-final will air live on Sportsnet One and City Winnipeg.

The final meanwhile, which is scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 27 at 5:00 p.m. will air live on Sportsnet One.
