The Neepawa Natives held their annual team awards banquet on Wednesday, Mar 4th. The evening provided players, coaches, team sponsors and fans a chance to cap the season on a postive and exuberant note. The list of winners included:

Best Manitoba Player: Drake Lindsay (Presented by Neil Gillies - Neepawa Tire)

1-C-Coaches-Choice

The coaches choice award: Steven Phillip (Presented by Scott Dyke)

1-C-Hardest-Worker

Hardest worker award: Ashton Anderson. (Presented by assistant coach Dustin Howden)

2-C-Leading-Scorer

Leading scorer: Drake Lindsay. (Presented by Director of player personnel Byron Billett)

1-C-Lionel-Crowther-Memorial-Award

The Lionel Crowther Memorial award: Garett Rempel. (Presented by Colleen Crowther) 

1-C-Most-Improved-Player

Most improved player: Brayden Atkinson (Presented by Kristen Tibbett, with Dustin and Tyler Cook)

Rookie of the Year: Griffin Chwaliboga. (Presented by Pat Guilbert of Home Hardware and his sons Owen and Cole.)

The unsung hero award: Stephen Mather. (Presented by team president Dave McIntosh.)
