The Winnipeg Blues were able to take advantage of some early opportunities against the Neepawa Natives on Sunday night, on the way to a 6-4 victory.

The Blues scored the first four goals of the game, including three within a 1:26 time span at the end of the first and early portion of the second period.

Neepawa continued to press however and that effort paid off with three goals in the second. Winnipeg however scored another in the second frame to make it a 5-3 score after 40 minutes. Both teams scored singles in the third to make the final 6-4 Blues.

Drake Lindsay and Kyle McDonald ended the evening with three points a piece for Neepawa. Lindsay scored twice for the Natives, while MacDonald and Garret Rempel notched one goal a piece.

The lose drops Neepawa to 8-14-1 on the season. The next action for the Natives is Wednesday Nov. 19 in Portage la Prairie against the Terriers.
