Power play & penalty kill remain issues for Neepawa Natives

The power play and penalty kill continue to be an issue for the Neepawa Natives, as the club allowed a pair of short handed goals and gave up another while with the man advantage, on the way to an 8-2 loss to the Virden Oil Capitals.

Brayden Atkinson and Drake Lindsay scored for Neepawa in the defeat. Reid Stallard started the game in goal for the Natives and stopped 17 of 23 shots through 40 minutes. Alex Henry played in the third and stopped 12 of 14 shots.

 This is Neepawa's third straight loss and drops the team to 6-10-1 on the season. The next game for the Natives is Tuesday, Nov. 4 in Selkirk against the Steelers
