This year's Manitoba Junior Hockey League annual general meeting and bantam draft will be held early next month in Portage.
The AGM will take place June 7-8, with the league's draft to be held Sunday, June 9.
MJHL commissioner Kim Davis expects this year's meetings to be rather routine.
"There doesn't appear to be any major issues that are going to be on the agenda," he said. "No major rule changes are being contemplated, no major amendments to the bylaws to the league that are being contemplated either.
"It's a pretty low-key year," he continued. "We've had other years where we've had some major changes to things. That doesn't appear to be the case this year."
One discussion topic that is sure to come up is how preparations are going for next year's Western Canada Cup, which will take place in Dauphin, April 25 to May 4, 2014.
The draft meanwhile, is similar to years past and will consist of six rounds and two auto-protect rounds.
The Neepawa Natives currently hold the No. 1 pick in the draft. The Natives held the No. 1 pick a year ago and wound up selecting Rivers product Ashton Anderson first overall.
