Province-wide campsite reservations open Monday

The Manitoba Parks Reservation Service will open on Monday, April 7 to help campers book their summer vacations at campsites all across the province.

Starting at 7 a.m., campsites can be reserved online here or by calling 1-888-482-2267 (toll free).  

Most campgrounds are scheduled to open May 9 while northern campgrounds and, weather permitting, those along the lakes will open May 16. 

In Spruce Woods, Kiche Manitou campground will open May 9 while the flood-damaged lower campground is scheduled to reopen June 27 with a number of upgrades including new flood-proof washroom facilities, road improvements and landscaping.

In addition to the usual retail outlets, annual park entry permits can also be bought online through Canada map sales at www.canadamapsales.com.
