Observation: fresh layer of snow

Last week I told you that the snow was gone from the roofs. Well today, when I look out the window, there is a fresh layer of snow on the roof of the garage.

It is wet snow, which is very hard to sweep away. At least nature waited till the roofs were clean before it gave us another load. We can say thank-you Lord for that. Other things are not so pleasant. Roads are washed out in our rural area. An ambulance had to make an 11 km detour before they could reach a patient.

Calls have been made for sandbaggers in our area. Trucks and school buses got stuck on the soft, almost impassable roads. However this will pass. We are still alive and waiting for warmer days and more sunshine to come. And it will come. God promised that when he made the seasons.

In Genesis 1:14 ‘“God said, ‘let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons …….”’ David tells us in Psalm 104:19 “The moon marks off the seasons ……”

The seasons will change and spring will come.
