Is the “system” letting us down? Yes, I believe our worldly system is letting us down big time.

When I look in the Post-Office where the window is plastered with announcements of people, young and old, who passed away, I know that the “system” is failing us. My heart cries out for the young and in the prime of their life. Society has a terrible time keeping up with the problems of this world. It is with difficulty that I sometimes watch the news on tv and see the corruption that exist all over the world. There is no peace among mankind.

However let us look at the Heavenly system. It is a perfect system, directed by a loving God, who will guide and direct us and give us peace in circumstances beyond our control.

We can “rejoice in the Lord” (Psalm 104:34). He will give us the strength, peace and joy that the world cannot give us. “His love endures forever” (Psalm 118:1).

May the strength of the Lord be ours this week.
