Do not forget to change your clocks this weekend and “spring” ahead one hour. Hopefully spring will follow shortly. My husband faithfully watches the weather network and keeps telling me that we are getting more snow.

Every year I am reminded that I do not live in B.C. anymore, but the month of March is the most difficult one for me to get through. It will be nice to have the extra hour of daylight in the evening, but there is nothing we can do about changing the seasons one way or another.

The Bible teaches us clearly who is in charge of our seasons, because God created them. Genesis 1:14 teaches us that God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years.” We can make predictions but God controls the seasons, because He said and it was so.
