Observation: Back into a routine

After recuperating a few days from a long trip via bus, plane and car, I am back into a routine. We traveled over mountains and through valleys and were able to attend my grandson’s wedding.

It was great to visit with all my children, grandchildren and great grandchildren in Alberta and B.C. Some I had not seen in years. The family is growing and it was good to see first-hand some of the mountains they were climbing in life – and one went through a valley losing a pregnancy.

I now know better how to pray for my family and realize how important prayer is. There is no distance with prayer and having seen the family members, there is more reality in how I pray for them. They do not always tell you everything, but God knows and He will answer in His time.

We all climb mountains and go through valleys, but we need to come to a point where we can say with David in Psalm 121:2,2 “I will lift my eyes to the mountains …....My help comes from the Lord …..”
