The Brandon Wheat Kings kicked off their seven-game Western Hockey League road trip with a win on Tuesday night in Medicine Hat.
The Wheat Kings came back from three two-goal deficits to win 7-6 over the hometown Tigers, snaping a two-game losing streak in the process.
Ryan Pulock, who is currently second in league scoring among defencemen, scored two goals and set up another for the Wheat Kings, who scored back to back goals 22 seconds apart midway through the final period to get the win.
Alessio Bertaggia also scored twice for the winners, giving the Swiss left-winger four in his last two games. Tyler Yaworski, Tim McGauley and Ryley Miller rounded out the scoring for the Wheat Kings, who improved their record to 6-3-1-0 on the season.
Elgin Pearce had two goals and an assist in a losing cause for the Tigers, who lost for the seventh time in their last eight games.
Corbin Boes made 27 saves to pick up the win in goal for the Wheat Kings while Dawson MacAuley turned aside 35 of 42 Brandon shots in a losing cause.
Brandon is back in action Wednesday night in Lethbridge against the Hurricanes.
