Figures released late last week show Manitoba’s unemployment rate held steady at 5.4 per cent in January as the national rate increased.

The Manitoba unemployment rate remains the third lowest in the country, well below the national average of 7.6 per cent, said Entrepreneurship Training and Trade Minister Peter Bjornson. Read more

 
Province announces increased public school funding
