Grey Cup comes to Minnedosa

The Grey Cup made an appearance in Minnedosa on Wednesday.

The Canadian Football League's championship trophy was there as part of the Grey Cup 100 Train Tour. The reasoning behind the tour, which is currently ongoing, is to help celebrate the CFL's 100th Grey Cup game, set for November.

The retrofitted train included three cars that showcased the CFL and its storied history.

Approximately 1,000 people came out to celebrate the event.
