Blue Hills RCMP respond to industrial fatality

On Thursday at approximately 2:15 am, Blue Hills RCMP responded to an industrial fatality in the RM of Whitehead, approximately 10 kilometres northwest of Alexander.

A 24-year-old male from the RM of North Cypress was working a night shift when he became caught in an industrial machine. Local EMS attended. The male was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Manitoba Workplace Safety and Health is on scene assisting with the investigation.

The name of the deceased will not be released.

The investigation continues.
