The McCreary Ski and Outdoor Club has been lucky enough to get the Banff Mountain film festival called, "Radical Reels" for Friday May 2, 2014. The club is also planning a bike race for the next day, called "East Gate Unchained in RMNP".

"We are hoping to attract a large number of outdoor enthusiasts, adventurers, young at heart travellers, and even some vicarious tourists to view the films and enjoy the east side of Riding Mountain," states the club in a release.

The event begins at 5 p.m. with a fun but competitive Pixie Bike Mayhem obstacle course. Next, the club will have a local culinary experience, followed by "Radical Reels" films starting at 7:30 p.m. at the McCreary Community Centre.

On Saturday May 3 is "East Gate Unchained".  The release says, "Get out your old klunkers, costumes and cruise to the historic East Gate in Riding Mountain National Park."
