RCMP investigate fatal snowmobile collision

On Saturday, Jan. 11, shortly before 9:30 pm, RCMP responded to a report of a collision on a snowmobile trail near Rainbow Beach in the rural municipality of Ochre River.

The two-vehicle collision occurred on a trail where one 28-year-old male was pronounced deceased. A 27-year-old male was transported to Winnipeg hospital and remains in stable condition.

Alcohol is considered to be a factor in the collision.
