One dead after car crash near Kemnay

A car crash has taken place just west of Kemnay and at least one person is dead, according to several media reports.

The crash included a minivan, which was destroyed as it ran into a semi trailer.

A witness told the Brandon Sun that the driver of the minivan may have fallen asleep before ramming into the back of the semi trailer, which was parked in a turnout on the north side of the Trans-Canada Highway.

The investigation continues.
