Speech night was held at Rapid City Library on Feb. 9. It’s not the most favourite part of 4-H, but everyone really had a great speech prepared with a wide variety of topics. Speeches were followed by the monthly meeting where a few achievement day items were discussed, as well as our second weigh day.

March 19 was the second weigh day. It was held at Alan Horner's farm and we had beautiful weather for it. All animals had changed and gained weight since our first weigh day, back in December 2015. We enjoyed a potluck after the animals were dealt with, and followed that by our March monthly meeting. 

Rapid City 4-H Beef Club achievement day will be June 25; Neepawa Fat Stock Show and Sale will be July 6. We hope everyone will mark their calendars for those dates to come out and see us!
