Rivers 4-H Beef Club held its second meeting on Nov. 2. Weigh day has been moved to Dec. 13 at 9 a.m. at English’s.

We will participate in Rivers’ Christmas parade (Dec. 6 at 10 a.m.) and will invite Rivers Multipurpose Club to walk with us. Nov. 5 is “Show Your Green Day”; 4-H members were encouraged to wear green and support their club. The club Christmas party will be held Dec. 5 at the Sportsplex in Brandon; we will swim and have pizza. Jan. 4 has been set to host club speeches. Shirts will be ordered for new members for achievement day.

After the meeting our leaders facilitated a discussion on different qualities and types of feed. Our next meeting will coincide with weigh day (Dec. 13 at 9 a.m.).
