On Sunday, Oct. 5 Rivers 4-H Beef Club reconvened for another year. The club has 16 members (we welcomed three new members) who can be involved in market steer, heifer and continuation heifer projects.

Our executive are president Rachel Veitch, vice-president Naomi Best, treasurer Camryn Veitch and secretary Quinn Robins. Leaders are Brian English and Trevor and Kerrie Veitch. 

Southwest region is hosting a slumber party on Oct. 17 at Playtime in Brandon; we have been invited to attend. Each member volunteered for a committee to help the club host events and fulfill duties throughout the year. 

Our next meeting is Nov. 2. Weigh day for market steers and heifers is Dec. 6 at the Brian English farm at 9 a.m. with a meeting to follow.
