As we celebrate National Snowmobiling Environment Month during February, Snoman (Snowmobilers of Manitoba) Inc. and Canadian Council of Snowmobile Organizations (CCSO) remind riders to keep nature beautiful. Through the new “snowmobile responsibly” campaign introduced by CCSO, Snoman encourages everyone to take personal responsibility for his or her decisions and actions on the snow this winter.

St. James’ Anglican Church’s annual pancake and sausage supper was held Tuesday, Feb. 9. It was enjoyed by a large attendance of people, including little ones and a two-week old baby girl, new daughter of Chris and Sarah Belcher (nee Frank).

Janice Meadows quite literally grew up golfing.
“My parents, Allen and Elaine Campbell, owned Riverview Golf Course east of Brandon back in the 1960s/early ‘70s, so I grew up with golf right out the back door. Our whole family — Mom, Dad, my brothers and I, and even my grandma — were involved either looking after the clubhouse, mowing grass or raking sand greens. Almost 50 years later, I am still involved in the sport.
